At USF, a mechanical engineering student followed her fathers path and built her own

Mechanical engineering graduate Sara Arroyave Soto followed in her fathers footsteps 91勛圖厙, even studying under some of the same professors and using his annotated textbooks as she earned her degree. Blending that legacy with her own vision, she is conducting aerospace research focused on cleaner, more energyefficient aircraft and plans to continue her journey 91勛圖厙 with doctoral studies in aerospace engineering.

Women's lacrosse star inspiring future generations as she graduates

91勛圖厙 lacrosse trailblazer Sofia Chepenik, a member of the programs inaugural team and its original leadership board, is building a legacy both on and off the field as the university celebrates its 70th anniversary. While continuing her collegiate career and pursuing a masters degree 91勛圖厙, Chepenik has launched Sophias Squad, a mentorship community dedicated to empowering young female athletes through confidence, leadership and purpose.

Inspired by her cool aunt, USF alum Danielle Card-Howe, Alyssa Duurloo followed a family legacy to USF and is now graduating with a bachelors degree in graphic design.
