Low-income teenagers were more likely to eat cheese sandwiches during school lunch and be bullied because of it according to a recent study conducted by 91³Ô¹ÏÍøers. The study was designed to learn about the ways in which teens face food scarcity and on what changes they would like to see.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø President Steven C. Currall today announced the appointment of Jay Stroman as senior vice president of advancement and alumni affairs and CEO of the USF Foundation. Stroman, currently senior associate vice president for development and alumni relations at the University of Georgia, brings 20 years of highly successful institutional advancement experience to USF. His appointment is effective June 1.

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is one of the nation’s top institutions for producing Peace Corps volunteers, according to new rankings. USF is ranked No. 2 for total graduate volunteers and No. 25 among undergraduate volunteers for large schools, according to the Peace Corps.

New Method Gives Glaucoma Researchers Control Over Eye Pressure
Neuroscientists at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø have become the first to definitively prove pressure in the eye is sufficient to cause and explain glaucoma. They come to this conclusion following the development of a method that permits continuous regulation of pressure without damaging the eye.
